New Addition: Judges Scientific
I have just made an addition to the Compound & Fire portfolio. I have bought Judges Scientific at a price of 75.00 GBP.
Judges Scientific is a company that buys and develops businesses that make special scientific equipment used in universities, research centers, and industries worldwide.
They focus on acquiring companies that create unique, niche scientific instruments that help scientists do important research and solve complex problems.
Management has done a great job and the company is led by its founder Mr. Cicurel.
They have had a difficult 2024 with revenue and earnings down versus 2023, while the valuation was quite sporty. I expect the company will recover in 2025 and with the stock price declining now the stock price finally is in a range that it is worth taking a position. The valuation still isnt low, but in general one can’t buy a quality company at a huge discount.
I will show the change in the January 2025 update and have sold my position in Kone at 46.06 which I announced in my prior update already.
